Jenene Caramielo honed her talent with a wide variety of experiences and education. From her early work in regional theater musicals such as The Music Man and Fiddler on the Roof, to opera workshops including Aida, to lead vocalist in pop music-packed productions, Jenene’s lifelong training and work in voice, dance, piano, and acting & improvisation has delighted audiences across the United States and in numerous countries.
After having studied classical voice at the Civic Light Opera in Pittsburgh, as well as Carnegie Mellon University, Jenene graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Shenandoah Conservatory. A true crossover entertainer, she is as adept at belting a Celine Dion or Whitney Houston pop song as she is performing an aria, or captivating audiences with Broadway show tunes.
Jenene has shared a stage with Chicago, opened for the Beach Boys, kicked off Major League Baseball games with our national anthem, sung for celebrities and world leaders, and performed at some of the most exclusive private clubs in the United States. She says, though, that her greatest honor to date was performing at the Governor’s Ball at The White House backed by the United States Marine Band, Navy Sea Chanters, and Air Force Singing Sergeants.
Jenene’s signature shows include “Celebrating Celine”, the ultimate tribute to Celine Dion; “Icons & Divas”, a pop tribute to the biggest voices of our generation; and “Broadway to Big Screen” featuring hits from famous theatrical shows and iconic movies.
